As anyone would guess, this line shows that I've never had the opportunity, if you want to call it an opportunity, to spend on a woman's grooming since I'm happily single. The chances of this status changing anytime soon will further diminish after this post is completed.
Most people would probably agree to the statement that is the title of this post and would wonder that what took me so long to realise this fact. Let me just narrate one small incident.
An old friend who was a colleague in my first job and ended up being my colleague again after the MBA got her hair style changed, 'Straightening' is the term she used to describe the process. I personally feel the change has definitely been for the worse, but she thinks otherwise.
Now comes the realisation part. Hazarding a wild guess, I asked, "So, how much did this cost you? 200-300 bucks?". "5", the answer came, followed by a "K". I was dumbfounded. 5K for a stupid procedure that makes your hair look worse! "That's normal. In fact, she got it done for quite a bargain.", retorted a recently married friend from MDI who is also my colleague now and travels in the same bus with me.
This got me thinking what all can I do in the name of personal grooming. Let's not get into too much detail but I figured out that if I add up the amount I spend on my haircut, hair oil, shampoo... let's also put in the razor blades, shaving cream, bathing soap, hand wash, deodorants... laundry, ironing, shoe polish... that's pretty much everything I can think of I still can't get it to 5K in an year! In fact, I can even get my annual bike maintenance cost covered in the 5K budget.
Either women really are expensive to maintain or I am a very low maintenance person or both. ;)

Who would tell women dat beautifulness lies in simplicity. i also dont undersatnd y these women like to exaggerate thing???
